Anemometer Program:For larger installations where banks, investors and such require a site analysis, we can install anemometers for a year, 2 or 5 prior for wind analysis. For those in the state of Colorado, the state offers an anemometer program for those of who would like to test their site not previously tested and entered into the statewide database. The state will install a anemometer on your site for a year prior to installation of wind production equipment. All you have to do is pour the footers for the installation prior to their arrival, and sign up. This is best for large installations who don't need power in the interim. Otherwise, get a few small wind generators and a few solar panels for your property and use them as general test equipment. This will check for wind and solar aptitude. As you use your renewable system for the year you will get a very good working understanding of your property's wind potential and know how you want to proceed.
